En croute en route........or a passion for poisson

There's no need to seek out restaurants, or live on beans and sausages just because you're "camping". Take a look at some of the dishes we knock up whilst travelling......

Plum and Almond Buttermilk Cobbler
Plum cobbler is one of our favourite family puddings, which allows the plums to cook in their own luscious juice and provides a cloud of crisp fluffy topping.

Oriental Chicken
It's hard to believe something so simple and easy can, firstly, be low-fat and secondly, taste so very good. I guarantee that once you've made this once, you'll go on making it for ever.

Pork Chops Baked with Wild Mushrooms and Creme Fraiche
This is quite simply the best recipe I've ever done for pork chops.

OK, I admit it, it's all made up as we haven't been anywhere yet! But we do have a three ring hob and oven with grill, so in theory, anything's possible.."Darling, could you pass the lemongrass? It's between the saffron and the quail's eggs". More likely, "Oi! Pass us the ketchup will ya?. It's next to the Pot Noodles."
